Emirates A380, the World’s Largest Commercial Aircraft Repainted
Recently, Emirates completed 33 aircraft makeovers which took 12 months. As part of the airline’s strategy to operate modern and efficient aircraft fleet, they gave a fresh coat of paint to 3 Airbus A380s and 22 Boeing 777s.
One of its A380, the world’s largest commercial aircraft makeover took a team of 34 professionals, 1.08 tons of paint to repaint within 15 days. The repainting process includes chemically stripping, repainting and glossing.
