THE STORY
Josette White, an American who moved to Kenya some years back. She loves meeting people and turned her beautiful contemporary home into a place where people can stay and enjoy home-from-home experiences. I met her in 2017, when I was fortunate to stay in her lovely apartment in a green, quiet suburb. Since then, I have always stayed in her home, and we have become very good friends. I have been privileged to meet many friends of Josette, who are distinguished and well-known people.
Josette’s home is beautifully designed, and it’s nestled in a beautiful neighborhood, with an abundance of cool shops, casual eateries, and bars mere steps away.
THE APARTMENT
This super-chic apartment is a beautiful homestay, and we’re always excited to add it to our list of beautiful spaces for a holiday in Nairobi at any time of the year. Chock-full of stunning features, from wooden flooring to a fireplace, this spacious home has ample living space, with five bedrooms, a massive kitchen, and a dining room. It’s a perfect retreat for a weekend getaway, short or long stay in Nairobi. Josette loves beautiful interiors, and she’s always looking for unique design elements to add to her apartment’s beauty.
The apartment is a two-storey townhouse with four bedrooms upstairs, the living room, kitchen, and dining room on the second floor, while there is a private bedroom on the lower floor – for those looking for complete privacy. The bedroom on the lower floor has an ensuite bathroom, a small kitchenette, and its own entrance. Josette furnished the bedroom with all amenities, including a smart TV, refrigerator, and coffee maker.
The whole house features a wide range of amenities including super-fast Wi-Fi, standing fans, fresh linens and bath towels. Guests also have access to the kitchen, if you love to cook. You’ll definitely love it here!

Josette’s home is situated in the heart of Westlands, in a quiet green compound with spacious outdoor space and relaxed ambiance. The townhouse has a lovely veranda bedecked with chairs, perfect for lazy afternoons with a glass of chilled drink in your hand.
