The High Commission of Namibia in partnership with Air Namibia has opened a visa office in Lagos. Nigerians interested in visiting Namibia can easily apply for their entry visa in Lagos.
The new office was commissioned in Ikeja yesterday, 15th April 2019. Speaking at the event was the Namibian High Commissioner to Nigeria, H.E Humphrey Geiseb, who mentioned that more than 60% of the air travelers live in Lagos and its surrounding states, according to their research.
Mr. Geiseb also said that Namibia has a wide range of tourist attractions for Nigerian tourists and holidaymakers to explore, as well as a beneficial business and economic environment for entrepreneurs and business owners to take advantage of.

The visa office has been opened in order to cater for the higher demand – as a large percentage of travelers visiting Namibia are from Lagos and its surrounding states. This strategic move is aimed at strengthening the bilateral relations between Nigeria and the Republic of Namibia. It’s a more convenient way for applicants within Lagos to submit their visa applications and collect their visas – rather than travelling to Abuja for visa processing and spending much more.
The PRO Home Affairs & Immigration for the Republic of Namibia, Ms. Salome Kambala explained the visa policy of Namibia as well as the types of visas and permits available for entry into the southern African country.
