Suya is a common Nigerian street food and finding the perfect one is an activity on its own. Luckily Abuja is home to several Suya spots such as the Yahuza Suya Spot. From Wuse to other city center parts, a hunt for great tasting Suya is worthwhile. Do note that Suya is mostly sold at night. There is no particular established reason for this.

It is worthwhile to stick with the flea markets or explore Abuja’s main markets as items in the commercial areas and malls can be expensive. Some markets to go flea shopping at include the New Wuse Market and Garki International market.
