Arik Air has been named the official carrier for the 3rd Accra Weizo which is scheduled to hold at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel Accra, Ghana from 26th – 27th May, 2017.
Accra Weizo, according to the organisers, is aimed at promoting seamless travel in West Africa and this year’s edition will be focused on destination marketing, tour packaging and e-tourism training. The goal is to improve travel and tourism growth in West Africa through easy access to towns and cities in West Africa.
The Chief Executive Officer of Arik Air, Captain Roy Ilegbodu said the airline is excited about this partnership with Accra Weizo and the attendant opportunity to meet top travel and tourism players from Africa coming under one roof and address the entire travel industry.
“Arik Air, the largest carrier in West and Central Africa, is well positioned to serve as the official carrier for the 3rd Accra Weizo. We are the oldest Nigerian airline on the Lagos-Accra route and we cover more destinations than other carriers”, Captain Roy stated.
Delegates to the 3rd Accra Weizo can enjoy discounted fares on Arik Air’s five weekly flights between Lagos and Accra. The airline also connects Monrovia, Banjul and Dakar from Accra thrice weekly.
Accra Weizo will be imparting knowledge to its various participants through seminar, networking, exposure and provision of digital skills and awards.
